Speech Pathology Graduate Student Intern for TAP, Morgan Rush; joining us beginning week of 1/18/21 for the semester.

Morgan is currently a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro pursuing a Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology. She has received a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorder and Spanish through Appalachian State University. Her previous clinical experiences include working with children from kindergarten to twelfth grade in the public school system, combining speech/language therapy with hippotherapy, and evaluating/treating swallowing disorders in adults in acute rehab.  This is her final clinical placement and she is thrilled to learn more about aphasia and the dynamic world of language therapy. When she is not busy with school, Morgan can be found walking her dog, cooking a delicious dinner, or just hanging out with friends.
